Ballerina

When I was about 6 years old, my mother enrolled me in a ballet class to improve my coordination. I was so clumsy! The night before our first Swan Lake performance stage fright took hold of me and I refused to perform the next day. (My clumsiness has not improved much of course!) Photographing this adorable little girl reminded me of my experience- and of the fact that I am much better off behind the camera than on stage.
