At the end of a photo session, almost always my favorite images are the candids. The moments that are unplanned, unexpected and completely natural- revealing true personality. Sometimes the viewer is left unsure of the emotion of the person in the image, as in the case of one of the portraits below, and it leaves one to ponder what is happening. (In the case of the woman below, she was actually trying to compose herself after laughing, but it looks like she could be crying.) Another unexpected moment was when my cat, who is very shy, went up to this man in the middle of the session and she let him pick her up. Keep your camera ready, cuz’ you never know what to expect!
